Whilst Jobeda and Rahena were visiting Bangladesh in 2017 they witnessed first hand, the poverty and day-to-day struggles endured by the local people. At the time Jobeda was suffering from a terminal illness. Having had no children of her own and seeing the harsh reality of giving birth in such an isolated area she was determined to create a lasting legacy. Her sister Rahena assured Jobeda of her continuing support and the idea of creating a Foundation was formed.
In late 2017 the foundation was setup to help assist families in and around the Sylhet area. Sadly Jobeda passed away in April 2020. Rahena is now even more committed to keep her sisters legacy alive.

Our foundation endeavours to help relieve poverty, sickness and distress by providing education, advice, information, support and translation services. This benefits the residents when dealing with health, housing, education and employment.
We achieve this by promoting literacy skills to enable communication, basic health and safety training, parenting programmes and assisting in health awareness.
