Three Sisters Care is a Leading Social Enterprise that was set up by three sisters, Rahena, Jaida and Jobeda in 2011.

Best quality of life

Our focus is all about supporting the most vulnerable people in society. Our fundamental aim is about giving the people we serve the best quality of life we can. We ensure their dignity is maintained, that they always have choice and control, whilst enabling them to live as independent a life as possible within the comfort and security of their own homes.

Local community care

We are not a national provider; we pride ourselves on being a local community care organization that fundamentally believes in the importance of embracing the communities we serve. We therefore always strive to offer employment opportunities to local people, provide them with the training and development they need to be empowered to give back to their own communities.

Our core values of kindness, compassion, respect and honesty are embedded into our organisations policies and procedures and our staff champion these beliefs, led by the founding Three Sisters:

RAHENA BEGUMFounding Member
Rahena Begum is a dedicated leader within the Health & Social Care sector. Rahena has an extensive background in health care management including provision of domiciliary care.
With 17 years of experience in the care industry and through her own research, Rahena discovered that there was a shortage of carers in the local community (particularly many middle-aged women of Bangladeshi descent – were working out of their homes due to cultural differences, and language barriers). Thus the birth of Three Sisters Care Ltd.

Rahena’s caring approach and dedication to the health care sector has helped empower women and equip them with the necessary skills to obtain employment. Rahena’s work within the community has not gone unnoticed – In 2014 Three Sisters Care were awarded the Social Enterprise award, a trophy presented by Doug Richards, (Dragons Den). Three Sisters Care were also awarded the 2015 Women in Business Award.

The late Jobeda was an award winning social entrepreneur. She graduated from Cambridge University in 1996, becoming an entrepreneur in 2007. She was a Dementia Champion trained by the Alzheimers Society whilst working in the government sector.
She won Social Business Leader of the Year in 2010, at the Ogunte Social Leadership Award. Jobeda’s passion for a grassroots social enterprise, committed to enriching the lives of others and empowering local people sets the foundation of the Boards guiding principles.
JAIDA BEGUMDirector of Quality Standards
Prior to the commencement of the Three Sisters Care organisation in 2011, Jaida an Ofsted Registered Child minder, was responsible for the running of a successful childcare business for ten years, in Newham. Jaida champions the Company’s core quality standards and ensures that our fundamental values of kindness, respect, compassion and honesty are embedded into everyday practice.
