What Is Caring for Children Support?
Caring for children is a tailored support service for families who require help with day-to-day care and supervision of children, whether due to additional needs, disability, complex health requirements or family circumstances that make extra support beneficial. Our approach focuses on dignity, respect, encouragement and creating routines that help children thrive.
How We Support Your Child
Our care workers are experienced, trained and compassionate, helping children with a range of needs. Support we can provide includes:
• Assistance with Daily Routines – Support with personal care, meal routines, dressing and morning/evening transitions.
• Emotional Support & Encouragement – Building trusting relationships through listening, positive engagement and consistent support.
• Practical Assistance at Home – Help with light domestic tasks, organising activities, preparing snacks and ensuring a safe living environment.
• Escort & Supervision – Accompanying children to appointments, activities or school if agreed with the family.
• Respite for Families – Providing reliable care so parents and carers can rest, run errands or attend to other responsibilities with confidence.
All care is delivered with sensitivity, patience and respect for each child’s personality and preferences. We work in partnership with families, professionals and health providers where appropriate.

We begin with a full assessment so we can understand your child’s strengths, challenges and family routines. This lets us create a personalised support plan designed around your child’s needs, preferences and daily goals. We regularly review this plan with you to make sure it adapts to any changes in needs or family circumstances.
