What Is End of Life & Complex Care?

End of life care focuses on supporting people who are approaching the final phase of life due to a progressive or advanced health condition. Its aim is to help people live as comfortably and meaningfully as possible, aligned with their wishes and preferences, while providing reassurance and support to families and carers. End of life care includes managing symptoms, personal care, emotional support and coordination with other health professionals as needed.

Complex care refers to the personalised support required by people living with life-limiting or challenging health conditions  such as terminal illnesses, neurological conditions, spinal injuries or other serious health needs that require skilled and attentive care.
